Crafty Times

Hello there!
I have been engaged in making cards for a long time,
and I'd like to show you some of my works here.

I hope they're good, but I'm still in the stage of learning, aren't all of us are?
Learning for life. (`・ω・´)”

Time to showcase my works!

Using the paper cutter makes my progress so much faster! Absolutely love it!

These two different patterns are actually on the same paper! Double sided papers are fantastic!

This is the end product, I felt that although it is really simple, the red really brings out the pattern.
One of my better products imo. (*´・v・)

Of course, it's a personalized card, and I always make them according to the feeling I get from them.
It's just the vibes that I get and I have no idea how to describe it.
So every time I make a card, I'll just let the ideas flow, and most of the time, they come out quite perfectly.

I know that, because I could see that the recipient really likes the card. I always feel so happy when they do. (/^▽^)/

Here is a pink card! A sweet color for a very sweet person! (●´∀`●)

See those letter stickers? Those are from Prima Marketing, and they are the best!
They have the most number of letters and the size is really appropriate.

If you're a scrapbook enthusiast, you would know the Thickers, and they are wonderful,
but they cost more than this, and have much lesser letters. ;_;

This card was actually made for Carissa, she's really a kind and really nice person! The sweetest person I've ever met. (●´∀`●)

Our friends agreed that it really suits her when they saw it. I must say that I'm quite relieved to hear that.

Although these cards seem really simple, but I believe that I must have spent at least an hour on each?
Sometimes the ideas flow easily, sometimes I have to dig deep. It really varies. ヽ(´ー`)ノ

I just wanted to share pretty things with all of you!
I really hope that I will be able to do more of this.
Like I said, I'm still learning. Most importantly, I have to speed up!

That is all, goodbye!

Disclaimer: All products are from Made With Love. Even the paper cutter. Well, everything. :)

Under your arms!

I have always struggled with odors, especially those under my arms.
I know I'm not the only one facing this problem, but it's so embarrassing, nobody ever voices it out!

Struggling with armpit stains?

Here is a solution for you:

Perspirex

I have tried and tested this product and it works AMAZINGLY WELL.
It totally diminishes sweat and that is the crucial part, because
1. Sweat has bacteria
2. Bacteria causes the odor
3. Odor is really disgusting

IMPORTANT information to note: You have to shave under your arms as well, as bacterium are trapped in the hairs!

It is damn effective.
Well, I love my deodorant.

I'm using the deodorant from The Body Shop in Chilled & Breezy and it is very good, it has a very refreshing smell every time i apply it.
"DeoDry™ is free from aluminium salts and parabens, and delivers excellent dryness and odour control, leaving no white marks on your clothes." (Quoted from The Body Shop website)
It is good, but the formula tends to dry up within hours and you'll have to reapply, which I find it troublesome.

This is why Antiperspirants are definitely better.

"DeodorantsDeodorants do not stop sweat. They work by temporarily neutralise the smell from the bacteria living on the skin in the armpits. Many deodorants contains fragrance which only mask bad odour.

Antiperspirants
Antiperspirants decrease or halt the production of perspiration in the sweat glands. Basically, a temporary plug is formed in the opening of the sweat gland.
The plug is naturally dispelled within a few days. The duration of the effect varies from a few hours to several days."
(Quoted from the Perspirex website)

The crux of this matter is to attack the root cause and deodorants only serves to cover the surface of it.

If you read this, you have no more excuses to have smelly underarms and armpit stains anymore!
Get one Perspirex today!
Available at: Guardian Health & Beauty Stores, Watsons and leading pharmacies

By some chance, there is an offer going on at Groupon today, only 13 hours are left! [From the time i posted]
Grab them before they're gone!

Disclaimer: This is not an advertorial, i'm just helpful like that. ^^
Well, more of not wanting to suffer anymore from unpleasant smells. ( ~_~ )

Japanese Eyelash Perm

[Mini-update in the middle of the post!]

I just went for an Japanese eyelash perm on Wednesday!
I'm very happy with the results!

I purchased the coupon from Groupon one fine day and decided to go for it although I'm underage. :P

Unglam photo alert!

BEFORE:

As you can see, my left eye is without makeup and the eyelashes are very straight,
while my right eye is clearly longer with my awesome Majolica Majorca mascara. ( ^_^)

With makeup:

Contact lens are Freshlook ColorBlends in Shimmering Gray.

During the session, i took a snapshot and here it is:

From my experience there, i gather that the lady stuck the tapes to my eyelids and adhered
my eyelashes to the tape. Thereafter, she applied a perming lotion, which I recognized because of the similar smell to
when I permed my hair. I'm not sure if she applied a conditioning lotion as I did not have much time to ask about the
procedure.

It has been a few days now and the effect is quite good, as i read about the experiences others
had and mine turned out better. An individual said that their eyelashes were too curled and
ended up poking her eyelids and it is a mess due to the really tight curl, some were 90 degrees.

My eyelashes are indeed at a different degree, but I feel that the problem lies with my eyelids.
I'm quite afraid of what will happen afterwards as I had problems with severe acne
before, in my eyelids, so I'm really praying hard that there won't be such things happening.

P.s. It has happened. :(
My right eye is now swollen at the inner corner so I can has parallel double eyelid now. ( -_= )

AFTER:

With no makeup at all, my eyelash are curled on their own! ( ^_^)
I think the degree is a bit uneven though..
You can see that I got my eyebrows tidied up as well! Super happy with neat brows!
My brows grow soooo fast, i always get bushy brows and even unibrows. ( ̄へ ̄)

More pictures!

After my eyelash perming session, Agnes and I headed to Orchard Central for Cold Stone Creamery!
We got the Oreo Overload, satisfaction at its best!
That was our dinner. (^^)

Once in a lifetime experience at MBS!

My friends and I had the chance to experience the luxury of the hotel at MBS thanks to a really generous friend, Nicholas. Thank you! :D

Although there were some hiccups, namely, the very second we took those mini beers, gins and breezers out from the mini bar, we will be charged. That's really lame though. It's not like we consumed them. :S
Nevertheless, we had a real good time! Really really good time. :D
Here are the pictures i took, mainly up on the 55th storey where the 150 metres pool is and the night view from the helix bridge. Very very little. Well, leave it to the DSLR peeps to take quality pictures. Meanwhile, i'll leave you with these pictures.

To view the pictures taken by DSLRs,
here's the link to the album by the one that cost $2300,

The one that cost $1300,

And lastly, the one that cost $800

But seriously, at least the picture quality is awesome, unlike those above, taken by my pitiful 8MP phone camera wtf. I seriously should get a camera. Hmmm, maybe someone will get it for me? ;)
